Joan Price is a fitness speaker, writer, and instructor whose specialty is helping beginning exercisers start and stick to an exercise program. Joan is the author of The Anytime, Anywhere Exercise Book (2003) and three other fitness books. She has written hundreds of print and online articles about exercise for Woman's Day, Men's Health, Men's Fitness, First for Women , The San Francisco Chronicle Magazine, The Pacific Sun, and Amazon.com, among others. Joan's passion is line dancing, which she calls "the most fun you can have without a partner." She teaches line dancing in Sebastopol and Santa Rosa, California. Joan owns Unconventional Moves, providing fitness programs and talks to conventions and groups. Her clients have described her as "energetic, engaging and extremely knowledgeable," "your favorite teacher, stand-up comic and fitness maven," and "a 5-foot powerhouse, an exercise alchemist who can coax the athlete out of the inveterate slug." Joan's workout video, The New LI Teknique, has been endorsed enthusiastically by health professionals. Not your usual fitness pro, Joan is over sixty and the survivor of two devastating automobile accidents.
